About the Coaches:

Pitching coach Amy Huett  is Owner of Windmill Factory Softball Training, and Head Coach and Owner of the MN Breakers club team.  Amy grew up in Southern California playing for the Orange County BatBuster 16U A team at 12 years old. At age 15 she was invited to join the 18U A team (Elite league at the time). Loyal to the BatBuster organization, Amy was personally coached and trained by Gary Haning, who is still coach of the OC BatBusters and co-founder of the Premier Girls FastPitch on the West Coach. After High School graduation Amy was highly recruited by many D1 Schools across the country.

Hitting coach Morgan Garbrecht is a recent Bloomington Kennedy grad, MN Breakers assistant coach (hitting), and Bloomington Kennedy assistant varsity coach.

Fielding coach Kelsey Anderson is the MN Breakers assistant coach (fielding).  She is also a Burnsville High School graduate who was once one of the most dominant pitchers in the state of Minnesota. She received 3 All-Conference honors, 3 All-Section Honors, and 3 All-State honors. In her 2010 season, Kelsey was named Pioneer Press’ Softball Player of the Year, after leading the Burnsville Blaze to the 2010 AAA MN State Championship title.  In her senior campaign (2011), Kelsey was named MN Gatorade Player of the Year and Ms. Softball MN.  Kelsey continued her career collegiately at Winona State for two years before transferring to Bethel.  At Bethel, Kelsey was named twice to the MIAC 1st team All-Conference and was a 2-time recipient of NFCA All-Region honors.

14U 2018 Summer Travel Head Coach

OSA is excited to announce that we are looking for a non-parent paid head coach for the 14U 2018 travel summer program!

Candidate should have knowledge of the game and be able to communicate with and teach the players.  We want a coach that is passionate and strives to instill that same love and passion of the game into their players.  We want the girls to compete, have fun, and work hard.  Coach candidate is expected to be an EXCELLENT role model to our youth, and carry themselves in a manner that would represent the organization in a positive light. Playing and/or coaching experience is preferred.

We participate in Fall and Summer Big West League (Tuesday/Thursday nights) including the Big West Qualifiers (07/14-15) and State Tournaments (07/21-22), 3-4 summer tournaments (possibility of 1 out of town/state), and summer practices will be held Tuesday/Thursday nights on non-game days.
