Orono Fastpitch Softball Association

Providing girls in the Orono, Minnesota area the opportunity to participate in recreational and competitive softball.

Coach-lead clinics begin Sunday, January 15. The clinics are for all ages, kindergarten and older. Parents are not required to stay with their players, but the coaches can always use help running stations. Please check in with Mark McKenzie to see how you can help.

Clinics will be held January 15, 22 & 29 and February 5, 12, 19 & 26.

Open Gym and Clinics are held at the Orono High School gym. Players should bring their own gear, including batting helmets, and wear indoor athletic shoes.

PLEASE NOTE: some paper communication has posted different start times and dates for the clinics.  All sessions will run from 6:00-8:00 on the dates above. Any changes will be posted on this site and communicated by e-mail.  Make sure you are registered on this site to receive e-mails!

Tryouts for Spring/Summer Travel Teams will be Sunday, March 4 and Saturday, March 10.  Players need to attend only one session.  Travel teams are for girls in grade 4 and higher.

Travel Team registration will be open on this site in late January.  Information regarding registration and the tryouts will be posted and communicated through e-mail.

NEW THIS YEAR: Travel Team registration will include the cost of purchasing a new uniform for each player to own and use multiple years. Players will be able to size and order uniforms at tryouts.  OSA commits to keeping the same uniform style for at least 3 years.

Registration for the grade K-3 Travel Lite program is now open through Community Education. More information can be found on page 13 of the Jan-May 2012 Community Education Brochure.
