Spring Coaches Meeting and Skills Teaching Clinic

Where: Orono Intermediate School Gym
When: Wednesday April 13th 6-9pm
Who: All OSA coaches, assistants, team managers and interested parents
Cost: Free, zip, zero, nada for OSA parents

The Coaches Meeting will go from 6-7pm. We will be discussing league changes and association business so please bring your questions and comments.

We will have a Clinic after the meeting from 7-9pm. Sean Hall will be there to help us all become better coaches and to help parents reinforce the fundamentals when you’re practicing in the back yard. Sean, for all that don’t know, is one of the premier softball minds in the state. He has, and still does, coach teams that are proven winners. He will be demonstrating proper throwing and catching techniques, basic hitting, and some drills. I’m sure you will find it to be well worth your time, and certainly good for our girls.

Please email Paul Porkony if you’re going to attend so we have an idea of numbers. Feel free to pass this notice along to others that we might not reach. If you have any ideas or suggestions for things you would like to see in the clinic please don’t hesitate to email me with them. Sean is willing to work with us to help get the most out of the clinic.
