NEW HIGHWAY 12 BYPASS OPEN IN LONG LAKE
The new Highway 12 bypass around Long Lake has created changes in access to some of our fields. Please note the following directions:
Directions to Orono Community Center-Maple Plain, MN
*From I-494
-Take Highway 12 West into Maple Plain
-Turn right onto Howard Avenue
-Follow Howard Avenue to Independence Avenue
-Turn left onto Independence Avenue and follow to Orono Community Center
-Playing fields are directly behind the community center
-Turn right onto Howard Avenue
-Follow Howard Avenue to Independence Avenue
-Turn left onto Independence Avenue and follow to Orono Community Center
-Playing fields are directly behind the community center
Directions to Orono High School fields-Orono, MN
*From I-494
-Take Highway 12 West
-Take the Wayzata Boulevard exit (on the right just past County Road 15 bridge)
-Follow Wayzata Boulevard through Long Lake to Old Crystal Bay Road
-Turn right onto Old Crystal Bay Road
-Follow approx ¼ mile and turn left into Orono HS parking lot
-Playing fields are near the tennis courts behind the HS
-Take the Wayzata Boulevard exit (on the right just past County Road 15 bridge)
-Follow Wayzata Boulevard through Long Lake to Old Crystal Bay Road
-Turn right onto Old Crystal Bay Road
-Follow approx ¼ mile and turn left into Orono HS parking lot
-Playing fields are near the tennis courts behind the HS
Directions to Holbrook Park-Long Lake, MN
*From I-494
-Take Highway 12 West
-Take the Wayzata Boulevard exit (on the right just past County Road 15 bridge)
-Follow Wayzata Boulevard into Long Lake
-Turn left onto Brown Road
-Follow Brown Road over the bridge and take the first right onto Orchard Lane
-Follow Orchard Lane and take the first right into Holbrook Park
-Take the Wayzata Boulevard exit (on the right just past County Road 15 bridge)
-Follow Wayzata Boulevard into Long Lake
-Turn left onto Brown Road
-Follow Brown Road over the bridge and take the first right onto Orchard Lane
-Follow Orchard Lane and take the first right into Holbrook Park
Please note that the Highway 12 By Pass is OPEN effective November 2008.
DO NOT TAKE THE BY PASS IF YOU ARE TRAVELING TO THE FIELDS IN ORONO OR LONG LAKE
