2012 K-3 Travel Lite Teams

Girls Softball Grades K-1 (T-ball)

  • REGISTRATION FOR 2012 IS OPEN on the Orono Community Ed site
  • Cost:  $55.00 (fee includes a uniform shirt and softie ball)
  • Beginning Date:  Late April (depending on field conditions) - Mid July

Teams will be determined and communicated in early April.

The Orono Softball Association coordinates this program. Orono Community Education is responsible for registration and fees for Grades K - 3 ONLY.

Open to Orono School District residents and students open enrolled at Orono Schools.

Schedule: T-Ball practices and games will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays. Information about practice, game times and locations will be available in mid-to-late April.  Actual games will begin the first week of May.

Location: Morningside Park in Orono and/or Rainbow Park in Maple Plain (some travel is required for games).

Coaches: Volunteer coaches are needed for all teams.

 
Girls Softball Grades 2-3 (Machine Pitch)
  • REGISTRATION FOR 2012 IS OPEN on the Orono Community Ed site
  • Cost:  $65.00 (fee includes a uniform shirt and softie ball)
  • Beginning Date: Late April (depending on field conditions) - Mid July
Teams will be determined and communicated in early April.
 
The Orono Softball Association coordinates this program.  Orono Community Education is responsible for registration and fees for Grades K - 3 ONLY.

Schedule: Machine Pitch (grade 2-3) practices and games will be held primarily on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Final Machine Pitch schedules may include Monday/Wednesday games. Information about practice, game times and locations will be available from coaches in mid-to-late April.  Actual games will begin the first week of May.
 
Location: Rainbow Park and/or the Discovery Center in Maple Plain (some travel is required for games).
 
Tournament:  Year-end tournament the weekend of July 7-8 or July 14-15 (TBD) in Wayzata

Coaches: Volunteer coaches are needed for all teams.
