2026 OSA Winter Warm-Ups are Here!

Orono Softball Association is excited to announce and invite travel players, 8U, 10U & 12U to a 4-week series of winter clinics with instruction by TC Fastpitch, experienced OSA coaches and Orono High School players. The focus of the clinic will be to provide player development in a fun, structured, and positive environment. Players can focus on improving their softball skills, get in preseason reps, and connect with friends and teammates.

Cost
All four sessions $110 or pick and choose your sessions - $35 per week (Sports Engine Fees excluded). Players who register for all four sessions by January 10th receive an OSA Winter Clinic t-shirt. Otherwise, the t-shirt will be available to purchase for $20.

Please drop off promptly at 9:00. We kindly ask that players and volunteers stay for the duration of the clinic. We look forward to preseason fun!

We're excited to share information about upcoming winter training opportunities to help your players continue developing their skills during the off-season!

HIT DAWG ACADEMY - SESSION 2

OSA is pleased to continue our collaboration with Hit Dawg Academy for the 2025-2026 off-season programming. This is the second of two sessions being offered, featuring low coach-to-player ratios with experienced coaches led by Lisa Koehler. Please note that we must have a minimum of 3 players per session.

Location: Hit Dawg Academy, Plymouth
Dates: January 5 - March 5, 2026

Mondays, January 5 – March 2

10U/12U Pitching and Defense

  • $270 for 9 sessions (60 minutes)
  • 5:00 – 6:00 pm
  • 3 player minimum, 6 player maximum
  • Players will be pitching into a net and will not need a catcher

Tuesdays, January 6 – March 3

12U/10U Hitting and Defense

  • $270 for 9 sessions (60 minutes)
  • 4:00 – 5:00 pm
  • 3 player minimum, 6 player maximum

10U/12U Pitching and Hitting

  • $270 for 9 sessions (60 minutes)
  • 7:30 – 8:30 pm
  • 3 player minimum, 6 player maximum
  • Players will be pitching into a net and will not need a catcher

Wednesdays, January 7 – March 4

10U/12U Hitting and Defense

  • $270 for 9 sessions (60 minutes)
  • 4:00 – 5:00 pm
  • 3 player minimum, 6 player maximum

2026 ORONO SOFTBALL SEASON PREVIEW

Get ready for another exciting year of OSA softball! The season kicks off with Winter Clinics starting January 25, followed by Spring Registration opening January 23. Evaluations on March 8 lead into team announcements on March 20, with practices beginning soon after: 8U on April 6 and 6U on April 28.

The action ramps up with Big West Games the week of April 28, and summer brings the major events—State Qualifiers and State Tournaments for 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U from late June through July.

It’s shaping up to be a fun, competitive, and memorable season—we can’t wait to see everyone out on the field!

OSA Fall Training - Registration Now Open!

OSA is excited to announce Fall Training opportunities for 8U/10U/12U and 14U age groups!

Both programs will be held at the Long Lake Dome, offering players a chance to stay sharp, build skills, and have fun with teammates before winter clinics begin in January.

8U/10U/12U Fall Training

When: Thursdays, 5–7 PM
Where: Long Lake Dome — 2465 Wayzata Boulevard, Long Lake, MN
Dates:

  • October 23, 30
  • November 6, 13, 20
  • December 4, 11, 18

Cost: $200 (16 hours of training)

What to Expect:
Players will rotate through defensive and hitting drills using both turf and batting cages. These sessions focus on keeping skills sharp while having fun and connecting with teammates.

Register for 10U/12U Fall Training

14U Fall Training

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5–7 PM
Where: Long Lake Dome — 2465 Wayzata Boulevard, Long Lake, MN
Dates:

  • October 23, 28, 30
  • November 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20
  • December 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18

Cost: $400 (30 hours of training)

What to Expect:
Led by our 14U coach, players will work through progressive defensive drills, hitting development, and endurance training. Sessions are designed to enhance strength, fundamentals, and game readiness.
