Pre-Tryouts Saturday, February 10th

Join us for pre-tryouts with Open Gym to follow at the Long Lake dome. Pre-tryouts begin at 4:00 PM, followed by an Open Gym session focused on pitching for 10U+ until 7:30 PM. OSA coaches will be available to help work on skills. The cost for the pre-tryout is $25.00. Please bring payment with you to the Long Lake dome if you have not already paid through winter clinic registration. If you're a new player, or if you need a different size this season, please make sure to visit us during the Pre-Tryouts. It's the perfect opportunity to have your number assigned and to try on various sizes to find the perfect fit.

- 8U Division: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- 10U+ Division (All Players): 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- 10U+ Division (Pitchers & Catchers Only): 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM  (If your daughter is a pitcher, she will need a catcher starting at 6:00 PM)

2023 Winter Warm Ups!

Orono Softball Association is excited to announce and invite travel players, 8U and up, to a 6-week series of winter clinics with instruction by Hit Dawg Academy, experienced OSA coaches, and Orono High School players.

The focus of the clinic will be to provide player development in a fun, structured, and positive environment. Players can focus on improving their softball skills, get in preseason reps, and connect with friends and teammates.

Please join us if you are interested in being a part of the OSA coaching staff. We welcome all levels of coaching experience including those new to coaching. This is a great opportunity to help, ask questions, and learn from experienced coaches and players.

OSA equipment swap- Bring your old, gently used, and outgrown equipment and OSA apparel to donate and help others get geared up for the season.

Athletes will be broken into groups by age.

- Week 1 – General Skills (Hitting and Defense)
- Week 2 – General Skills (Hitting and Defense)
- Week 3 – Pitching, Catching, Defense
- Week 4 – General Skills (Hitting and Defense)
- Week 5 – General Skills (Hitting and Defense)
- Week 6 – Pre-tryouts with Open Gym to Follow (Pre-tryouts begin @ 4:00 PM followed by Open Gym focused on pitching for 10U+ until 7:30 PM - OSA coaches will be available to help work on skills.)

Note: For week 3 if you’re not a pitcher or catcher - come work on your defensive skills. Pitchers will need to provide their own catcher for a portion of the practice.

Please drop off promptly at 4:00. We kindly ask that only players and volunteers stay for the duration of the clinic. We look forward to some preseason fun!

Get ready for an action-packed off-season with OSA! We're thrilled to present a range of exciting opportunities for our 12U and 14U players to elevate their skills, strength, and team play.  For more details click here. Here's a quick overview:

       - Enhance your fastpitch skills with experienced coaches.
       - Friday evenings, 10 sessions for $320.

       - Exciting doubleheader game options at the Minnetonka Dome on Saturday nights.
